Still Raining!

Yep, must have had about 10mm this afternoon.  A big storm cell came through around 3.30pm and dumped a heap,  folllowed by a steadier rain for a while.  About an hour later had another heavy, but not as heavy, spell, followed by some steady soaking rain which is still going at 7pm.

The garden is just soaking it up.
Here's the view of the driveway and street to the front of the house.

...and this is the view of the back garden looking south east.  If it looks a bit wet, that's because it is!

It's Raining!!

Well hallelujah!  It's raining again.  The Murrumbidgee came up two days ago after a short but sweet storm, and John, Nick and I paddled it at a level of 2.35m (measured at the gauge at Lobbs Hole) which is a nice level - brown, moving fast, all the playspots working well.

And now it's raining again.  A big storm front came through this afternoon, registering red on the weather radar, which is a rare sight indeed.  Normal rain registers as white, really heavy rain as blue or dark blue, maybe yellow.  But I've never seen it get into the red before.   Don't know how many mm we've had, but probably 10mm this afternoon.  Let's see what it does to the river...
